Micah Malouf joined the Office of Counsel in April 2026, where he advises Duke University on a range of corporate, transactional, governance, real estate and tax matters.
Prior to joining Duke, Mr. Malouf was in private practice at a Southeast law firm in its Tax Exempt Organizations Practice Group, where he advised universities and their affiliated entities on finance and operations, fundraising, investments, real estate, regulatory compliance, and complex commercial transactions. Previously, he served as Associate University Counsel at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he supported finance, operations, development, real estate, and board governance matters. He has also held in-house legal roles within the higher education and nonprofit sectors.
Mr. Malouf received his undergraduate degree in Finance and Economics and his law degree from Texas Tech University. He is a member of the North Carolina Bar and the Texas Bar.
