Kate S. Hendricks

of Counsel

Kate Sigman Hendricks joined the Office of University Counsel in 1987. Ms. Hendricks’ practice focus involves employment and labor law, student issues/FERPA, trademark, research (international collaborations), and non-medical litigation. She was in private practice in Washington, D.C. from 1983-1987.

Ms. Hendricks is admitted to the North Carolina Bar (1988) and the District of Columbia Bar (1983). Ms. Hendricks received her J.D. from Duke University School of Law in 1983 and a B.A. in Public Affairs from George Washington University in 1979. She is a native of Jackson, Mississippi.
