Beverly Chang Zimmerman joined the Duke University Office of Counsel in May 2026. She advises on a broad range of transactional matters for Duke University, including Business Transactions, Information Technology, Supply Chain, Data, Privacy & Security, Intellectual Property, Technology, Data & Licensing, Facilities, and Affiliated Entities.
Prior to joining Duke, Ms. Chang Zimmerman advised on operational, governance, and compliance matters within an international organization in the technology and software industry. Earlier in her career, she practiced at global law firms in New York City and Washington, DC, where she focused on finance and other complex corporate transactions. She began her career as a consultant supporting supply chain management and enterprise software implementations.
Ms. Chang Zimmerman earned her J.D. from The George Washington University Law School and her B.S. in Economics from Duke University. She is a member of the New York and District of Columbia Bars.
